Powerflushing
Cold spots at the bottom of radiators, slow warm-up times and a boiler that keeps cycling are usually signs of a system that's full of sludge. A powerflush clears that out properly. We push fresh water through every radiator at high flow with a magnetic filter on the loop, capture the iron oxide and debris, and leave the system clean before re-dosing it with corrosion inhibitor.
Powerflushes save money in two places. They restore the heat output of older radiators, which means less time on the gas, and they protect the heat exchanger in your boiler from blockages, which is what most expensive repair bills come back to.
A typical job runs from £375 to £900 depending on radiator count and how badly the system has been neglected. We give a fixed quote after a brief survey and explain what we'll find before we start. Most flushes wrap up in a single day.
Once finished, the system is balanced, refilled and treated. We test every radiator for warmth top-to-bottom and walk you through the results so you can see exactly what changed.
